We couldn’t help but notice this year that we’re not the only ones who think our clients rule. We practically wore the C’s off our keyboards typing “Congratulations!” for honors earned, milestones hit and press accolades. Our role: tell those stories.
Powerit Solutions was named to Greentech Media’s Networked Grid 150 list of leading smart grid players for the second year running, and debuted a cloud platform and analytical application to extend the capabilities of its Spara technology for advanced energy demand management. Telling the story: On top of our media relations work, Thinkshift developed new website content to better showcase Powerit’s technology and message of savings plus sustainability, and helped Powerit amp up its social media presence.

RSF also earned a spot on the Best for Workers list. Telling the story: Thinkshift works with RSF to expand its thought leadership and gain media coverage—from radio to print to leading online publications—for its efforts to build the next economy.
New Resource Bank earned an overall five-star rating, the highest possible, from the Global Impact Investing Rating System (GIIRS). GIIRS is a comprehensive and transparent system for assessing the social and environmental impact of companies and funds. Telling the story: Thinkshift produced New Resource’s first sustainability report this year and continues to help the bank illustrate its impact through client stories and other communications.
The California NGV Coalition worked behind the scenes to help pass AB 8, which authorizes more than $2 billion in clean vehicle incentives for California. Telling the story: The biweekly newsletter Thinkshift produces for the Coalition keeps members and other stakeholders informed of legislation progress and priorities, as well as industry news.
In its first year of operation, The Bull Valley Roadhouse appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle’s Top 100 Restaurants in the Bay Area list and Conde Nast Traveler’s 70 Best New Restaurants in the World feature. Telling the story: In addition to encouraging everyone to eat there (now open for brunch!), Thinkshift was thrilled to help the Roadhouse with its launch marketing plan.
RoseRyan celebrated its 20-year milestone as Silicon Valley’s secret finance and accounting weapon, and passed the 700-clients mark. Telling the story: Along with our regular broad-spectrum marketing work for the consulting firm, Thinkshift created an anniversary cocktail promotion that provided 20 ways to make finance troubles go away (at least for a few hours).
Sage Consulting keeps widening the reach of its First Touch training program, which improves patient safety, caregiver satisfaction and the whole healthcare experience. In addition to expanding its client base, Sage is helping the Desert AIDS Project in Palm Springs on a reduced-rate basis. Telling the story: Thinkshift helps Sage keep its educational materials up-to-date, professional and easy to use.
Happy New Year! Wishing everyone peace, prosperity and a perfect 2014.
