Logical thinker: you can find a compelling theme and construct an argument from an outline or interview, and fill in the blanks on your own.
Ghostwriting skill: ability to write in someone else’s voice (or close to it).
News sense: you can spot what’s most important and interesting about a subject.
Research smarts: you can not only find information but also evaluate its relevance and credibility.
Accuracy nut: you are committed to getting the facts right and don’t mischaracterize information.
The usual: good communicator, excellent listener, consistent, reliable, deadline driven.
